- Sample the local cuisine whenever possible
- Take it easy though, as exotic cuisine may not agree with you at first.
- McDonald's is the same in Europe as it is here, except you can get beer. Save eating there for when you are running low on money.
- My typical gastronomic schedule:
- Breakfast: eat a lot as it is usually provided by the hotel (sneak a couple of biscuits and some fruit for lunch if you so desire)
- Lunch: short and small (read cheap); often from a street vendor or grocery store
- Supper: relaxing, sit-down meal at a restaurant with friends. Great way to recap the day, swap stories and plan the next. Have a couple of pints; you deserve it after a hard day of touring.
