- Don't carry your receipts with you; rather, keep 'em with the copy of your passport in your room
- Credit cards/debit cards widely accepted and offer the best exchange rate often w/o a fee
- Though if you are eating with a group, be prepared to pay with cash in order to make things easier as some places will not split bills
- Don't count/display money in public
- Carry small amount of money in pocket for street-item purchases and the rest in your wallet
- Don't take all of your money with you (use a room safe, etc.)
