• Don't get picture happy during the first few days; you're there for a while
• Film is expensive, bring enough from home
• Put a fresh battery in your camera before you leave as they are expensive too
• In museums/churches, etc. where they do allow pictures to be taken, you usually cannot use the flash, so know how to turn it off
• Buildings are tempting targets; however, pictures with people can tell a longer story. Keep in mind the following
  • Ask people before taking their picture
  • Some cultures consider picture taking taboo, so study up on customs first
