- Film is expensive, bring enough from home
- Put a fresh battery in your camera before you leave as they are expensive too
- In museums/churches, etc. where they do allow pictures to be taken, you usually cannot use the flash, so know how to turn it off
- Buildings are tempting targets; however, pictures with people can tell a longer story. Keep in mind the following
- Ask people before taking their picture
- Some cultures consider picture taking taboo, so study up on customs first
